The inaugural edition of the Surfet Saltwater Sweetheart Board Fest amiably happens this Valentines Day, Saturday, February 14th, 2009 hosted at Coconuts on the Beach and the Cocoa Beach Skate Park. The line up includes Women and Girls Professional Surfing plus amateur divisions sanctioned by the AAU, Tandem Team, and Dudes in Drag, Kids Sandcastle building contest and beach games. The Cocoa Beach Skate Park will also open for the Girls Free Skate Session featuring Lea Taylor and music with DJ Longneck. This Surf and Skate celebration benefits The Boarding for Breast Cancer (B4BC) a non-profit, youth-focused education, awareness, and fundraising foundation.
